Made it to Dubai. 32 degrees C at 4am was a pleasant surprise (ahem). But was able to have a shower at the airport - which required an engineering degree to operate - so feelin' fresh.
Miraculously, I managed to sleep for virtually the whole flight (and finally watch Exit Through The Gift Shop).
Also worked my way through a three-course dinner and two-course breakfast on-board - the downward spiral into obesity is well underway. $10 says this will become a food blog.
Seven more hours in the air & I'll be back in the UK for the first time since 2008 :')))
