The Blue Lagoon is a 40-minute drive from Reykjavik. It was about 3°C so we put on our swimmers and hopped in the heaven-sent hot pools to warm up!

This evening we were picked up in this superboss jeep and headed off for the "Northern Lights and Lobsters" tour.

It ended up being a private tour and our guide took us to the eerily remote landscape outside of Reykjavik, which feels like you are standing on the moon. But with wild berries to pick and eat off the shrubs. And 1,000-year-old moss.

We enjoyed a 'lobster feast' (which was actually scampi) at the restaurant and perhaps a strawberry margarita or two.

Unfortunately we weren't lucky enough to have a sky like this tonight:

So we'll just have to come back in the winter time.........
