Odder 'n' Fab

Last night I had dinner at a wonderful bar down Oxford Road called Odder Bar (it's little sister Odd Bar is at the Northern Quarter, and apparently Oddest Bar is at Chorlton). I had the curried sweet potato & bulgar wheat burger and apple of my eye cocktail. Mmmmm. However, I was outdone by my pal who got a pizza and a beer for £4.99.

Then we headed down Portland St to have a pint at Fab Cafe, 'The World's First Cult Television and Movie Theme Bar'. Now, I have hunted down an awful lot of kitsch little small bars that have popped up in Sydney over the past year, but I don't think it gets any more retro than this. Or nerdy - we were sitting next to the TARDIS for god's sake (where's Dom when you need him?). It's dark, cheap and I want to go back and grab one of the many board games they had available to play. Monopoly, let's go?
